New Director of ONC Farzad Mostashari to Replace Blumenthal
Farzad Mostashari has been named Director of ONC (Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology). Farzad Mostashari will replace David Blumenthal as national coordinator for Health IT. Mr. Blumenthal has been on this post since March 2009 while Mr. Mostashari has been serving ONC as Deputy National Coordinator for Programs and Policy since July 2009.
